What we're all about!

Boogie Beans was founded by Holly Ray in 2015. She currently teaches all classes herself, and it remains a small, independent company. Holly has been dancing since the age of three, and went on to train at Bird College, where she gained a BA (Hons) in Dance and Theatre Performance. Since then, Holly has worked on stage and film, as an actress, dancer, and singer, as well as choreographing and directing various productions. Alongside this, she has taught performing arts to children aged 2-18, and has found this to be the most rewarding part of her career, and where her passion truly lies. Since having her own daughter, this has become even more true for Holly, and her aim now is to focus on providing dance and performance classes for children that are educational, nurturing, and most importantly - fun!

Boogie Beans is a dance, movement and music class appropriate for children aged 1-4 years. As long as toddlers are confidently, independently walking, they can join in! Music and movement is such an integral part of early years education (and life!) and the aim of this pre-school class is to allow the children to move freely, explore space and movement, improve their coordination and rhythm, and to build their confidence. The class involves simple dance exercises, props such as ribbons, scarves, instruments and pom poms, and even a sensory experience to finish.
